The Blessed Hope

I don't know about you, but I am excited about the Rapture of the church. The Bible calls this our Blessed hope.
Jesus Christ promised his followers that one day he will return and take them to heaven, that where he is we may also be. John 14:3

What is our Blessed hope. It is something that believers can look forward too. It will be a time of wonderful joy.
When we see Jesus all of our struggles and difficulties, that we have experienced on earth will be over.
As we look forward to this wonderful event, it should give us strength and courage to continue in our Christian walk.

Our hope is real, it is not a fairy tale as some would have us believe, but a real promise from a God who cannot lie. Hebrews 6:18 That by two immutable things, in which it is impossible for God to lie, we might have strong consolation, who have fled for refuge to lay hold of the hope set before us.

So as followers of Jesus how should this impact our lives. We are called to live righteously, share the gospel of good news, make disciples, and share the love of Christ. 
And let us encourage each other with The Blessed hope and the appearing of our Great God and Saviour Jesus Christ

2 Timothy 4:8 Finally there is laid up for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge will give to me on that day, and not to me only but also to all who have loved his appearing.
