Do you sometimes feel that way? Are you longing for the rapture. I have watched and longed for his appearing for many years now. The way things are right now I am amazed we have not been taken up already. It seems like things cannot get any worse, but the days are becoming more evil.
It seems like Bible prophecy is moving at lighting speed. Never before have we seen such a convergence of end-time events. The closer we are getting to his return the worse things are becoming. I get so grieved in my heart when I see the evil that has engulfed our world. The Devil is definitely angry, because he knows his time is short.
Insanity seems to have taken over the entire planet. So many are becoming desensitized to what is going on. People are just not shocked anymore. Homosexuality, abortion, and terrorism, have become the norm for most people. Even the church is guilty of condoning LGBT practises.
The world is beginning to scoff at us, they think we are crazy. They do not know that they are fulfilling Bible prophecy.
2 Peter 3:3 Knowing this first, that there shall come in the last days scoffers, walking after their own lusts, and saying, where is the promise of his coming? For since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of creation.
It is reassuring to know that things are exactly as the Bible says it would be.
Jesus even compared this time as being like Noah's day. Matthew 24:37-38 But as the days of Noah were, so also will the coming of the son of man be. For as in the days before the flood, they were eating and drinking, marrying and being given in marriage, until the day that Noah entered into the ark.
So let us look up as Christ told us to. He said when we see all these things happening that we are to lift up our heads because our redemption draws nigh.
I for one will continue to watch and wait because it is nearer now than when we first believed.
So let us continue to pray and hold onto God's word. Pray for family and friends who do not know Jesus as Lord and Saviour
Even so, come, Lord Jesus. Amen!
