Can you believe what is happening in the world right now? All the signs we are seeing are telling us that Jesus Christ is coming very soon. For believers in Christ it is an exciting time, but for those who have chosen to reject Jesus, they will experience a time of God's wrath and judgement. We have never been so close to world war 3. The world is being shaken like never before. There is a convergence of end-time prophecies that will soon bring a dramatic change to our world as we know it.
The Signs of the Times and the End of the Age
Matthew 24:3-8
Now as he sat on the mount of Olives, the disciples came to him privately saying, Tell us, when will these things be? And what will be the sign of your coming, and of the end of the age?
And Jesus answered and said to them. take heed that no one deceives you. For many will come in my name saying, I am the Christ, and will deceive many. And you will hear of wars and rumours of wars. See that you are not troubled, for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet. For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. And there will be famines, pestilences, and earthquakes in various places. All these are the beginning of sorrows.
The age of grace we now live in has had its fair share of false Christ's. The phenomenon has been steadily rising since the 1980's in particular. All over the world there are a number of deluded individuals who claim to be the second coming of Jesus. Sadly people are being deceived and following these self-proclaimed messiah's.
We are most definitely seeing wars and rumours of wars. Mankind's history has seen a continual succession on wars and military battle's. At present we are experiencing wars in the middle east, which are prophetic in nature. It appears that leaders are struggling to bring peace to this troubled world. The problems in Syria are at the forefront of the news right now. Terrible atrocities are taking place, with no end in sight.
Earthquakes also continue to increase as Jesus predicted. History has shown that the number of killer earthquakes has remained fairly constant until the 1950s averaging between two to four per decade. In the 1950s there were nine, In the 1060s there were 13, In the 1970s there were 51, In the 1980s there were 86. Of course, some statistics may differ slightly, but there is no denying that earthquake activity is increasing.
It is currently very difficult to keep up with all the end time signs taking place all over the world, it seems to be moving at a phenomenal rate.
However, the biggest end time sign is the Jewish nation of Israel. After the destruction of the Jewish temple in 70 AD the Jews were scattered all over the world. However the Bible says that the day will come when they will return to the land God promised them, more amazingly they returned in the exact order that Isaiah prophesied, east, west, north and finally south.
The Jews did not just return to the land, they became a nation again, thus fulfilling prophecy. On May the 14th 1948 the state of Israel was established.
Isiah 66:8 Who has ever heard of such things? Who has ever seen things like this? Can a country be born in a day or a nation brought forth in a moment? yet no sooner is Zion in labour than she gives birth to her children. What are the chances of a dead nation coming back to life, however, Israel has managed to do just that, and we in these last days have witnessed it.
God is doing the miracles he has promised. He is bringing a convergence of Bible prophecy. Never before in history have we seen such a convergence of end-time sign's.
I believe we are the terminal generation. The church will soon experience the longed for Blessed hope.

The things we are seeing are a shadow of what will take place during the Tribulation. Believers in Jesus Christ will soon be taken up to meet Jesus in the air.
1 Thessalonians 4:15-18 For this we say to you by the word of the Lord, that we who are alive and remain until the coming of the Lord will by no means precede those who are asleep. For the Lord himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first. Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And thus shall we ever be with the Lord. Therefore comfort one another with these words.
